Their youth is matched only by their desire to be and to love: Moritz, Wendell, Melchior, Ilse, Otto and Martha are at the age when urges arise. Shaken by surges of sap that sometimes overwhelm them, they sincerely seek to understand their desires in a world that strives to trivialize them, where the adults themselves are grappling with chaotic libidos.
Can their fantasy be shouted into the student radio microphone? Owned openly? From the repression of the past to the overstimulation of today—in our age of constant chatter—is the blossoming of sexuality less taboo?
From his own free interpretation, David Paquet draws out major themes—sexuality and taboo, domestication and freedom—to allow entirely new buds to blossom.
Ilyas Mettioui is very well supported, notably by choreographer Bérengère Bodin.
